ONE MAN HOLDS THE KEY TO THE SECRETS OF THE FLYING SAUCERS AND HOW THEY ARE ABLE TO PERFORM INCREDIBLE MANEUVERS IN OUR ATMOSPHERE

– – AND HE CLAIMS THEY HAVE ESTABLISHED FACE-TO-FACE AS WELL AS MENTAL CONTACT WITH HUMANS!

– – HERE IS THE COMPLETE TOP-SECRET HISTORY OF UFOS AND HUMANOID SIGHTINGS IN CANADA,

Wilbert B. Smith was a Canadian engineer responsible for the technical aspects of broadcasting between the United States and his country during the late 1940s and Fifties. Because of the number of sightings of unidentified flying objects over Canadian air space, Smith convinced the Canadian government to establish a UFO monitoring system, which eventually did detect anomalous phenomena in the sky which Smith felt certain was of an off-world origin.

Dying of cancer, Smith made arrangements with his wife to hide his “sensitive” files so they would not fall into the hands of those who would use his findings for their own unscrupulous ends. “They will be coming to ransack all my work,” Smith proclaimed. And he was right! As predicted, Canadians, Americans and Soviets approached his widow, requesting she turn over her husband’s work as it would help to further expedite their unprincipled labors.

Smith’s proposal to set up a serious, semi-official UFO study group was accepted by the Canadian government’s Department of Transport and a “station” was set up at Shirley Bay from which observations could be made, recorded and examined to see if there were any repeatable patterns in the reports which were being collected. On one occasion, an unknown aircraft came within close range of the station. Its presence could be felt!

When Smith questioned the Americans about the possibility of UFOs, he was told that the subject was of the uppermost concern in the US and was considered more top secret than the testing of the atomic bomb.

He believe the UFOs were of extraterrestrial origin. “It is my opinion that the people from elsewhere choose all sorts of methods to make contact with us, and their technology and understanding being much better than ours, they can use methods which we find quite incomprehensible" Most of the contacts of whom I have knowledge are ‘mental’ in one form or another, directly or indirectly, but they do seem to range through almost all sorts of means, right down to personal face-to-face contact.” Smith even set up a committee or review board among those who claimed repeated contact, physical or telepathic, with space beings. His intentions were to see if any of the claims made by these individuals could be considered comparable or if there was little or no agreement among them at all. The results proved positive in that many of these “contactees” were having identical experiences. He later in life experienced his own contacts but spoke little about them.

This volume breakthrough includes an “official” historical dossier of Canadian “humanoid and critter” sightings and encounters compiled by amateur astronomer John Musgrave with a $6,000 grant from the Ottawa seat of government.

- OBITUARY DEPARTMENT -

Hilly Rose Passes Away

Radio legend and paranormal radio host Hilly Rose has passed away at the age of 91.

His seven-decade-long career began in the 1940s when Rose was a child actor, performed in network radio soap operas in Chicago, (Ma Perkins and First Nighter) and has made industrial films and commercials since 1961.

After serving the country in World War II, Rose resumed his radio career by becoming one of the country's very first talk show hosts in the medium.

Before moving to Los Angeles, Hilly was on the air in San Francisco for a number of years, hosting highly-rated talk shows on KGO, KCBS and KNEW, as well as a television talk show on KTVU. He spent close to two decades at KABC, KFI, and KMPC.

Hilly was best known for his talk show "Open Phone Forum" on KFI, before satellites made national talk shows feasible. The KFI signal stretching across the country drew calls from all 48 states.

While working for KCBS in San Francisco, Rose famously landed a rare interview with the Beatles in 1964 at the height of Beatlemania.

In 1979 he joined KHJ/Channel 9 News to review restaurants. "I appeared live on TV and radio simultaneously through the wonders of tape."

When Art Bell “mysteriously disappeared” in 1998, Hilly took over the Coast-to-Coast program on 482 stations including KABC. He later alternated nights with Art Bell until January 2000. He also filled in numerous times for Larry King on the national Mutual Radio Network.

Hilly had one of the very first shows on the Sirius Radio Network. The show focused on examining the paranormal.

Rose's pioneering career was honored in 2016 by way of induction in the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame.

Hilly was the Father of ABC's Judd Rose who passed away at age 45

Editors note: Hilly Rose was the first to have me on his shows (terrestrial, Sirius radio and his podcast) numerous times in the early days of my career. I always enjoyed being on Hilly's broadcasts as he was always very knowledgable about the paranormal and related subjects. Often he would call me up just to chat about the latest paranormal-related stories and life in general. Hilly will certainly be missed. - Tim R. Swartz

Hacking UFO Tech
By Riz Virk

Recently, a groundbreaking story in the New York Times, Glowing Auras and Black Money: The Pentagon’s Mysterious UFO Program, which was covered by media internationally, was the first acknowledgement by the Pentagon since the 1960’s that they were taking UFOs seriously.

It is being hailed by many in the world of UFOs as the beginning of a drip drip disclosure not only about the existence of so-called black government projects to study UFO sightings, but also what is perhaps a more interesting revelation for scientists and engineers: that in our airspace there exists technology that defies our known laws of physics, and we are actively trying to reverse engineer it.

Until now, if you asked any serious scientist about UFOs publicly, they usually gave a CYA answer. It reminds me of the old saying in the business world, “no one ever got fired for going with IBM.” No academic or researcher ever got fired for saying that “there is no evidence that UFOs exist, therefore we shouldn’t study them”. On the other hand, if they said that the matter should be taken seriously and given funding, they would subject themselves to all kinds of ridicule and possibly lose their job.

This brings to mind an exchange in the movie Contact (based on the book written by very respectable astronomer Carl Sagan), between Ellie Arroway (played by Jodie Foster) and her mentor, the very respectable scientist David Drumlin (played by Tom Skerritt). He basically told her: “You’re a promising scientist. Don’t throw away your career … looking for little green men.”

With this bombshell report and the DoD’s admission that it takes UFO seriously, is that attitude about to change?

A Little History

Before we answer that, let’s look at a little history.

Almost 50 years ago today, on December 17, 1969, Project Blue Book, a government funded effort to study UFO sightings was shut down (on a strange personal note, this was also the day I was born, though it happened half way around the world!).

The popular narrative for the shutdown of “Project Blue Book” (and related projects) was that most UFOs were mis-identifications or natural occurrences, and since the military didn’t consider them a threat, the government was officially no longer in the UFO business.

There were 3 problems with this narrative:

1) A number of sightings were left “unexplained”?—?these were different from the number of sightings that were “incomplete” (i.e. there wasn’t enough information to figure out what they were).

2) Many suspected that the government continued to show interest in and pursue UFOs in top secret programs in the DoD even after claiming they were “no longer interested”. In fact, there are many claims that the most interesting UFO cases were investigated by the DoD directly and never turned over to BB.

3) Dr. J. Alan Hynek, who was the chief scientific consultant on the project, later became an advocate of serious UFO research, often debating with none other than Carl Sagan, who (publicly at least) believed that money should be spent on “serious” science like radio astronomy. Hynek not only invented the terminology “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” but also had a cameo in Spielberg’s 1977 film.

The Big Announcement

This year, on December 16, 2017, along with the NYTimes story, the Department of Defense released its first “official footage” of UFO encounters with the military. They admitted for the first time since 1969 that there was another secret organization that was formed and funded by Senator Harry Reid and others to study the phenomenon.

If you read the information contained in that report and others, the real story wasn’t just that the DoD admitted they were studying UFOs, but that this was the first time they admitted publicly of having real evidence, including video, radar, eyewitness, photographs and even physical artifacts, of encounters between US military aircraft and unknown craft which were defying the known laws of physics.

The aspect of the story that’s most interesting to me, and perhaps to you if you are an engineer or scientist is right here:

Under Mr. Bigelow’s direction, the company modified buildings in Las Vegas for the storage of metal alloys and other materials that Mr. Elizondo and program contractors said had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena.

This is an astonishing admission. In fact, this may be the first time since the 1947 Roswell incident (where the military did a press release saying that it had captured a flying saucer, only to retract the story over the next few days) that anyone in the government is actually admitting to having flyer saucer/UFO/UAP technology in their possession.

How Will Scientists, Engineers and Silicon Valley React?

Will this cause mainstream scientists to be a little more careful when asked about UFOs?

A few years ago when I was at SETI-CON (sponsored by SETI, the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence, whose executive director, Jill Tartar, was a respectable radio astronomer and who was partly the inspiration behind Contact’s heroine), I asked Seth Shostack, the chief radio astronomer there why SETI wasn’t studying UFOs.

Seth’s response to me was something along the lines of: “Well the UFO people are crazy. They think they have evidence that UFOs are here when there is zero evidence. I repeat zero evidence.” I always suspected this was a standard CYA answer, since there was actually tons of evidence that he didn’t want to take the time to sort through.

Now that the Pentagon has pretty much confirmed that there are UFOs flying around in our skies, and they have not only been studying them, but that we have artifacts from them, the real question is:

Shouldn’t civilian scientists in academia and in industry be demanding that we try to figure out how this stuff works?

There should be a big cry from Silicon Valley?—?which is supposed to be the heart of innovation ( I live here and am just down the road from both Google and SETI in Mountain View). Instead of Elon Musk spending his time trying to make rockets (a 50+ year old technology) work better, if he truly wants us to become an inter-planetary (and perhaps inter-stellar species) shouldn’t he be investing some of his billions in figuring out this not yet understood form of transportation?

While Google has the Lunar X prize for us to reconstruct technology that we had working 40 years ago to go to the moon, shouldn’t they be investing more $$ in an X prize that would mark a real advancement in physics and human exploration?—?demonstration of a non-rocket based system of flight and propulsion to the stars?

Re-engineering/Hacking UFO Technology?

The truth is we don’t really know how this UFO tech works, and in the realm of basic research, Silicon Valley may be more of a laggard than an innovator. And by “we”, I’m saying that it’s our mainstream science that really doesn’t know how it works.

Arthur C. Clarke once said that sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic -and there’s nothing that our “respectable”mainstream scientists hate more than something that appears to be “magic” because we don’t understand it.

From the same New York Times Story:

“We’re sort of in the position of what would happen if you gave Leonardo da Vinci a garage-door opener,” said Harold E. Puthoff, an engineer who has conducted research on extrasensory perception for the C.I.A. and later worked as a contractor for the program. “First of all, he’d try to figure out what is this plastic stuff. He wouldn’t know anything about the electromagnetic signals involved or its function.”

I can say that I have personally spoken to researchers from top universities (Stanford, MIT, Harvard) who have seen the “artifacts” that the article references, and other similar ones that are even more secretive (and perhaps more functional).

Although I’m usually the one who brings up science fiction scenarios, one researcher brought up an apt one to me: In the movie Terminator 2, scientists and engineers were given limited access to “it”?—?the pieces of the microchip and the skeleton of the terminator which had come from the future. They were reverse engineering it trying to figure out how it worked. It was far ahead of anything that had been developed to date.

Sounds familiar? I’ve been told that the reverse engineering effort is just like that.

This is a very big challenge. Think of the advances we made in science and tech in the past 100 years, and imagine the advances we’ll make in the next 100 years. Now imagine that we have tech from a civilization that is a million years ahead of us!

The Way Forward

We will need the best minds on this?—?not only from the military or a few covert researchers who are sworn to secrecy if we are to figure out how this stuff works. This is a much bigger project than anything else we’ve endeavored to do?—?because once the basic materials questions are answered, we may need new kinds of electromagnetic signals and a new type of computer science than what we’ve been taught. I’m told that some of the tech that’s been discovered and hasn’t been talked about involves interfacing consciousness with physical artifacts, something that also sends most of our mainstream scientists and engineers scurrying to their CYA corners, muttering about “pseudo-science” and “anecdotal evidence.”

Those of us who have researched this phenomenon know that this weekend’s article is just the tip of the Iceberg. I’ve personally seen old photos from the 1950s and 1960s that were much clearer than anything released thus far. Tom DeLong, the former blink182 musician who formed To The Stars Academy and who was instrumental in getting this announcement going himself tweeted: “There’s a lot more shit coming!”

The big question in my mind is, what will the “respectable” scientists do now that the cat is out of the bag and as more information comes out?

I see one of three possible ways forward:

1. Scientists and engineers from the mainstream continue to deny, deny, deny and give a CYA answer: There is no evidence of UFOs or UFO technology and it doesn’t deserve to be studied.

2. As more information leaks out, at some point, the David Drumlin effect happens. What is the David Drumlin effect? In the same movie, Contact, after an actual signal from another world was discovered, the same scientist that ridiculed Ellie Arroway suddenly became an “expert” on the new signal and aliens and tried to co-opt the work, never acknowledging their prior attitude of closed-mindedness.

3. Scientists and engineers work together with UFO researchers and the DoD, all the while staying humble and keeping an open mind. A new open-minded approach may be needed where scientists and engineers may have to start with an attitude that “we were wrong”, and that “we have not discovered all there is to discover, not by a long shot” as a starting point. This may result in a re-discovery of some fundamental ideas about aerodynamics, quantum physics, and even, I’m told consciousness and its ability to affect the material world.

As more comes to light, we may need to reconsider our arrogance of not just being alone in the universe, but also in thinking our science/tech is technologically advanced that we can make definitive statements about other civilizations and their ability to “visit” us. Those of us who are “pro-science” may also have to reconsider some fundamental aspects of our own science and technology, and even more difficult, our prejudices and close-mindedness to things we don’t understand.

Robert Bigelow Convinced Aliens are Here

One of NASA’s partners has said that he is “absolutely convinced” aliens exist – and that they are living on Earth right now.

Robert Bigelow, an entrepreneur who is working closely with NASA on future space missions, has suggested that he knows that our planet has an alien presence that is “right under our noses”.

Mr Bigelow made the announcement during an episode of the show 60 Minutes that focused on his work with the space agency.

His company, Bigelow Aerospace, is developing an expendable craft for humans that can inflate and might provide the space habitats of the future.

They have already been tested out in journeys to the International Space Station. And the two organisations are working on further co-operation.

But during that episode Mr Bigelow began to talk about his belief in aliens – and his claim that UFOs have come to Earth and extraterrestrials have an “existing presence” here.

“I’m absolutely convinced [that aliens exist],” he told reporter Lara Logan. “That’s all there is to it.”

Asked by Ms Logan whether he also thought that UFOs had come to Earth, he said he did.

“There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence,” Mr Bigelow said. “And I spent millions and millions and millions – I probably spent more as an individual than anybody else in the United States has ever spent on this subject.”

Bigelow told 60 Minutes that he first became interested in aliens after his grandparents had a close encounter with a UFO outside Las Vegas once. “It really sped up and came right into their face and filled up the entire windshield of the car,” he said during the interview. “And it took off at a right angle and shot off into the distance.”

Admitting you believe in aliens is one thing, but Bigelow seems to be no less than a true Believer. He told 60 Minutes that he’s also had “close encounters” but wouldn’t divulge any specifics. And apparently, Bigelow owns a company that has been getting referrals from the FAA about reports of UFOs and other weird activity, 60 Minutes confirmed. In fact, his fascination with aliens is the reason there’s an alien illustration on the side of Bigelow Aerospace’s headquarters in Las Vegas.

Ms Logan then asked if Mr Bigelow thought it was “risky” to say that he believes such things. He said that he doesn't care what people think because it wouldn't “change the reality of what I know”.

Lara Logan: Do you imagine that in our space travels we will encounter other forms of intelligent life?

Robert Bigelow: You don't have to go anywhere.

Lara Logan: You can find it here? Where exactly?

Robert Bigelow: It's just like right under people's noses. Oh my gosh. Wow.

Mr Bigelow didn't give any details about whether the research and private space travel that he is funding had revealed anything about aliens to him.

But he said that the hugely expensive work his company and NASA are doing won’t be required to meet them – he said that people “don’t have to go anywhere”, because the aliens are “right under people’s noses”.

Former KGB Chief Reveals Supernatural Truth

Former KGB chief Vladimir Kryuchkov spent 20 years in the Soviet intelligence agencies. In an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily he reveals what the KGB knows about UFOs and other supernatural phenomena, life in space and secret agents’ secret methods.

The media keep telling us about UFOs and a variety of other supernatural phenomena. Researchers and cosmonauts may have different opinions on the matter, but all of them are sure of one thing: that exact information can be obtained from the intelligence agencies. You headed the Soviet secret service for the longest period of time, 17 years, that is, from 1971 to 1988. You also chaired the KGB from 1988 to 1991. You must be able to give us the ultimate truth — are there any UFOs out there?

We have never received any proof whatsoever that UFOs or other supernatural phenomena actually exist.

The authorities asked me many times to prove or refute reports of this or that inexplicable incident on the planet. Most frequently I received requests concerning UFOs and yetis, the “snow people”. I would commission our best specialists and agents to find out where the reports that worried society so much came from. In the end it always turned out to be pure imagination. Sometimes an ignorant observer would interpret an unfamiliar phenomenon in a mystical way, sometimes a perfectly ordinary event would be called supernatural to make news. Often the people would add the KGB knew about the supernatural phenomenon, but wanted to keep it secret.

With full responsibility I have to state — never ever during the long period of my work with the intelligence service was anything really supernatural spotted, either in Russia or in any other country. When I say “other country”, I rely on the information from the highest officials, military, research and of course the intelligence agencies of foreign states.

The point is, in every “important” country presidents, prime ministers and secret service chiefs requested investigations into resonant abnormal incidents. And in every case, in each country, competent people would give one and the same answer — no. I have personally read copies of these reports.

I finally came to the conclusion that, for better or for worse, there is nothing supernatural on the Earth.

Then how do you explain the annual self-ignition of the sacred fire in Jerusalem?

I’m afraid I must disappoint you — it is just smart work, or if I may say so — a trick of the local clergymen. It has nothing to do with the divine powers. I could go further and say that our KGB researchers could organize a couple of miracles in Moscow that would totally outshine the Jerusalem fire. But this would mean playing games with believers’ religious feelings. This is utter disrespect, relying on their ignorance of some natural phenomena and secret scientific inventions.

However, I do not rule out the possibility of us having neighbors in the endless depths of space. Space abounds with various life forms, but of course they have nothing in common with the stories that indecent researchers and mentally ill people tell us. Actually the only accident that inspired serious theories was that of the Tunguska meteorite…

Did the Soviet authorities commission you to get information about the Tunguska comet from the U.S.?

No. Because there was not a single clue to start from. If we had had something, we would have tried to investigate, but we didn’t! And neither did the U.S. nor any other country.

By the way, the Americans tried conducting so-called “parapsychology experiments”, but made no progress. Neither did our own research institutes in this respect, although we also conducted some research… There are more exaggerations than achievements here.

More precisely, no discoveries at all, and this with the efforts of the KGB’s best, most extraordinary thinkers. This is a field that generations can explore for years, and still discover nothing. So you have to be careful when approaching it, and give no promises to anybody, but persistently continue the research. Then maybe you can answer some of the expectations by revealing something new.

So all these rumors of the KGB’s ’zombifying’ its agents, or of whole closed special-mission towns, this is sci-fi fantasy, playing games with an ignorant and spooked public. At the same time the subject looks fairly promising to me; we know so little about the human body, while the experiments show it has an amazing potential…

So, what I want to say is that — had there been anything at all, our agents would have informed me immediately.

Books and movies about spies are packed with stories of mysterious deaths. Venoms that are impossible to trace, unheard of weapons and murderous fighting techniques. Now is any of that true? Who and in what case would act this way?

All of this is true. Some still is. But “the fashion” today is a battle of minds. Intelligence agents, and especially espionage agents try to outwit their opponents with complicated operations. They try to fool their opponents.

Actually the murder of Stepan Bandera was one of the last cases when the KGB disposed of undesired people by means of violence. The USSR abandoned those methods in the times of Andropov, at the beginning of the 1980s.

The West proclaimed the same non-violence policy, but we have information raising doubts that, say, the Americans follow this policy. We witnessed agents who were U.S. nationals disappear, and then learned they were dead.

Is it possible to steal a person from a foreign country and secretly bring them to Russia?

Well, technically this is no problem at all! Just name him! More important here is the issue of relations between Russia and other states.

The times when we stole people are gone. If you steal a person today, and another tomorrow — who can guarantee other states will not start thinking badly of us? They may decide that Russia is not to be trusted, is not to be dealt with. Relations with other countries are more important for Russia than success in a single case.

NY Governor's Mansion May Be Haunted
By Kirstan Conley and Max Jaeger

If the pressure of running New York State doesn’t keep Gov. Andrew Cuomo up at night, things that go bump in the night do.

New York’s governor’s mansion is believed by many to be haunted — including former Gov. David Paterson — and Cuomo says spooky noises are keeping him sleep deprived when he’s upstate.

“So, it’s me alone, when I’m in the house because my family is in Westchester … and there are stories that this house is haunted,” Cuomo said Thursday. “Now, I don’t believe in ghosts, and I’m a big, tough Italian guy, but I’ll tell you, it gets creepy in that house, and there are a lot of noises that go on and you are very alone.”

Paterson told The Post that the 161-year-old Italianate mansion is, beyond the specter of doubt, haunted.

“Yes to be honest with you,” Paterson said when asked if there is a ghost.

He even went on a phantom-hunting expedition late one night while governor.

Paterson was in a second-floor bedroom when heard a sound like a vase smashing, he said. He searched two floors of the building but never found the source of the mysterious noise. The next day, house staff told him he had a run-in with the home’s oldest resident.

“I told the staff, and they all got quiet and left the room,” he said. “One came to me and said, ‘Governor, nobody wanted to say this to you, but it’s the ghost.’ One employee is afraid to clean one of the rooms because she thinks the ghost is in the room.”

Staff believe it’s the spirit of a groundskeeper who served the mansion’s original owners before the state bought the building in 1877, meaning nearly every governor since Samuel Tilden — including Cuomo’s dad Mario — lived in a haunted house while governing New York, according to Paterson.

While Paterson was living there, his 5-year-old nephew revealed that he could feel an invisible hand guiding him when he climbed the mansion’s stairs, leading Paterson to believe the spirit is benevolent.

“Governor Cuomo should be relieved,” the former governor said. “It’s a friendly ghost, like Casper.”

The mansion is not the capital’s only haunt for the undead. The State Capitol building is believed to be infested with the supernatural, and the state even offers spooky tours there.

Exploring the Bizarre Realm of the Paranormal and Occult Sciences
By Sean Casteel

One of psychic Maria D’Andrea’s earliest memories is of fleeing as a refugee from her native Hungary during the Hungarian Uprising of 1956. She and her mother were among the 200,000 refugees seeking to escape iron-handed Communist rule in what would eventually become a failed revolution that was crushed by the puppet regime established by the Soviet Union.

On that cold, icy trek to freedom, Maria’s psychic powers may have saved her life and her mother’s life as well.

“It was actually my mother and some of her friends,” Maria recalled. “It was a large group. And as we were escaping, we got really cold and it was very dangerous. A lot of people around us were getting killed, but we were doing okay. The group stopped at a certain point and were trying to decide whether if they should go back or keep going forward. My mother told me I was six at the time. She said I told them that God said we should move forward and we’d be fine.

“I don’t know why anybody would listen to somebody that’s six in the first place,” Maria continued. “But my mother said the group split up and half of them went back. The other half decided to listen to me. Apparently I wasn’t speaking in a way that a six-year-old would normally speak. My mother said the way I phrased it wouldn’t make sense for somebody my age. The group that went back, all of them got killed. But we made it to freedom.”

Maria and her fellow travelers reached the safety of Austria and she and her mother would eventually resettle in the United States.

When I mentioned to Maria that the Hungarian Uprising had recently had its sixty-year anniversary, she said, “You know what is weird? A lot of us don’t really keep track because we’re trying to move forward. But a lot of it I do remember. There was a lot of ice and it was freezing out.”

The same psychic powers that delivered Maria and the other refugees from death have served her well as an adult. She has long been a fulltime, professional psychic, meaning that she makes her living giving readings and counseling to those seeking help from beyond. She is also an interfaith minister and a shaman and speaks publicly on spiritual, psychic, paranormal and interdimensional topics. Meanwhile, other members of her family, although they have similar abilities, don’t make their living that way.

“Everyone in my family,” she said, “have jobs that have nothing to do with psychic situations. However, they do some psychic work on the side. As an example, both of my sons are in analytical fields and they both do readings. My grandparents on my mother’s side were trance mediums. My grandfather also did automatic writing and he used to channel his brother who had passed away when he was a lot younger.”

Maria’s father owned a couple of businesses and was well-served by his analytical and psychic abilities.

“Most of the people in my family were priests and ministers and professors at universities,” Maria said, “so they all had analytical jobs and possessed psychic gifts. They were highly intuitive.”

But Maria insists that everybody everywhere has some degree of psychic ability hidden within them.

“Everyone at some point has had a gut feeling,” she explained. “For example, when you first meet someone, not every time, but every now and then, before you even say hello you have an urge telling you whether you like them or you don’t. You ever notice that? So when you get that feeling, it’s more or less accurate. It’s a very intuitive, psychic – it’s like a warning system. It tells you basically if someone is not going to get along with you.”

This doesn’t operate as a moral judgment on the other person, according to Maria. It simply means the connection between you and that person is not going to work out. Meanwhile, one’s intuition could just as likely be telling you that you’ve encountered a good situation.

“So you’re picking up on whatever it actually is,” she said. “I feel that everyone has a base of psychic and intuitive ability. You can look at it this way: Some people are artists but everybody can draw. Well, pretty much, except me. I can’t do a stick figure. But everybody has a base for that also.”

Global Communications/Inner Light Publications has published many of Maria’s books on numerous psychic topics. She is quick to point out that all her books are “How-To” books as opposed to a vain fixation on writing about her own life story.

“I truly believe that the more you can do for yourself, the better the world gets,” she reasoned. “The better you do, the more you can help other people, and the better it gets for people around you. As an example, I have a book on finance. I have one on evocation, which is a heavier level of dealing with the spiritual realm. And then I have one that is a positively positive spell book.

“I really never write anything negative and I don’t teach negativity. I truly believe in karma and that whatever you put out comes back. There’s always a positive way to approach everything. And the whole point is to help people improve their lives, whether it’s through meditation or rituals or spells or mentally focusing on situations. I always feel that if you have an interest in it then you’ll be attracted to it and you can benefit by spiritually improving your life.”

You can read more of what Maria has to say about her work on her website, located at http://www.mariadandrea.com as well as contact her there should you wish to consult with her personally.

Maria’s bestselling “Yes You Can!” series of books includes a newer title called “Supernatural Words of Power,” which teaches one how to harness the simple spoken word to attain and achieve the things you long for in life. You will learn to command the true power of language to establish an open channel to the cosmos. There is a powerful energy force generated by the spoken word that man has been able to control since ancient times, but this ability has been locked away in our collective unconscious and hidden from the masses of us for eons. Maria teaches a simple, step-by-step methodology for reawakening the power concealed within us using words as that force’s most basic tool of expression.

But if you find yourself not interested in different methods of psychic “reaching out,” then you’re not supposed to be reading her books.

“It always goes to the person who is ready to move on that type of situation,” she said. “You know that saying? When the student is ready, the teacher comes. I tend to look at it that way. Sometimes it’s just a matter of letting people know the techniques and the tools they can actually use to improve their lives. Whether they want to move on it or not, that is free will.”

Maria is such a dedicated teacher that she even does it without payment on occasion.

“I do a lot of media work,” she said. “I used to teach on the air for free. I had a TV show called ‘The Spiritual World With Maria’ and it’s now available on YouTube. As much as we need to make a living, because, unfortunately, the phone company does not barter, we still need to put back. Because it’s a circle.

“People always seem to forget the putting back part,” she continued. “Sometimes people look at putting back as a money thing, but it really isn’t. Sometimes it’s that you can help people financially. Sometimes it’s as simple as a friend needing a ride to the store or for an appointment if their car isn’t working. If you give them a ride, you’re putting back. Sometimes people really need advice. If you’re giving them advice from the heart, if you feel it’s going to help them, again, you’re putting back. The funny part is, when you do something like that, because you want to and you’re doing it from the heart, it really does come back. When you need a ride, say twenty years later, somebody’s going to be there for you.”

One of the most basic components of what Maria teaches is open-mindedness, a sense of the psychic realm as a place we can freely explore in a continual learning experience. But first we must learn “psychic self-defense,” which Maria cautions readers to do in all of her books by the use of rituals and spells and by visualizing the protective white light radiating from heaven itself. Once that is taken care of, a positive spirit may come and speak to the seeker.

“Now, it can be clairaudient,” she explained, “which means you can actually hear words in your mind. It sounds exactly the same as if someone was standing behind you where you don’t see them but they’re talking to you. There’s absolutely no difference in the way you hear it clairaudiently. Sometimes you have to remember they’re not literally there.

“I’ve actually had it happen where I turned around to answer somebody before I remembered that they weren’t ‘there,’” she said, laughing. “But it sounds exactly the same. Sometimes you clairvoyantly see something or someone. You can actually see them physically. It depends on the situation.”

But when inviting spirits into your life, again, you must remember to first use psychic self-defense methods.

“I keep coming back to that,” Maria said, “because it’s really imperative. If there was something negative coming in, a negative spirit or entity, what would happen is that you would see them or hear them or know that they’re there, but they cannot affect you. That’s the difference. You’re always safe when you do this.”

This ability to be impervious to negative spirits is what makes it possible to do a house cleansing, for example, and banish evil spirits – because we are always safe.

“In the physical world,” Maria said, “we’ll go to places none of our friends would go to because we’re safe everywhere.

“But say you’re summoning a spirit,” she went on. “If it’s a relative, it’s fine, because you know who the relative is. If you’re summoning a spirit by name, you need to be really sure what that entity is before you do that. Some folks will read a book and they’ll call in a name because the book said that it’s a positive spirit. I always say before you call in a spirit to work with you or help you, I would go to Google or the encyclopedia or the library and find out what they say this particular entity does. Don’t just look at what just one person says that they do. You want to double-check because you want to be safe.”

There are other necessary practices to follow.

“One is, you have to be in a positive mood,” she said. “You have to have a goal. You have to be aware that you have free will. You have to know you’re in control at all times because in the physical body we really have the control.”

There are times when a given spirit may not wish to work with you, she said, at which point you try calling in a different spirit who IS willing to work with you. Once the ritual or summoning is completed, you mustn’t forget to thank the spirit for helping you.

“I happen to be an interfaith minister,” she said, “so I consider it to be God. But whatever you name your source, that’s that works for you. You have to thank your sources and send the spirit back. Because if you controlled its coming to you, it’s not going to leave until you send it home. You would get all kinds of issues if you forget. So you do have to send them back.”

A spirit has some degree of choice as to whether to leave or not.

“But you have to remember that we have the will power,” she said. “We’ve spoken. We have to have emotions behind it because emotions are like a battery charger. And we really have to have no fear because we know we’re safe everywhere. That takes a little practice. If you encounter something negative, your first reaction is to panic. You can’t panic. You just have to remember that you’re always safe.

“There really is no ‘negotiating’ with spirits,” Maria continued. “People have a misconception about that. We are always in control. The spirit can choose whether or not to work with us, but as soon as you’re dealing with a spirit where you’re supposed to be negotiating, you’re dealing with something negative. Don’t deal with the negative. As soon as any negotiating gets started, you want to send the spirit away and to have sufficient control to send the spirit away.”

Maria made reference to an occult law that says “like attracts like.”

“So when you’re working in a positive way,” she said, “most of the time you’re going to attract positive spirits, because like attracts like. It doesn’t mean a negative spirit may not pop up to see what you’re doing or to test you. But they’re not going to feel ‘comfortable’ around you.”

Sending an evil spirit love and healing energy works against its negativity and leads it to back off. But any feelings of anger or fear or emotional upset on the part of the human in question will be like delicious food to a malevolent entity. It’s a creature of negative energy that feeds on mortal negativity.

Maria spoke about how the word “occult” simply means ancient wisdom and hidden knowledge, adding that today the more frequently used words are “paranormal” or “metaphysical.”

“We really are the oldest science,” she said. “It’s not just a matter of someone up there chanting.”

For Maria, as a professional psychic, her mastering of the occult sciences and their wisdom has served to help others navigate the spirit realm and create positive change in their lives.

“One of the reasons I like to do readings is that what comes up in a reading is what people NEED to know,” she explained. “It’s not always what they WANT to know. At the end of a reading, I put in questions that the person can ask. But I never want to know anything ahead of time, because the universe will tell them what they need to know that’s going to help them improve their lives. Whether people make the move on things or not, that’s free will. But the point of a psychic reading is always to elevate yourself spiritually and to be able to maneuver much better within your own life.

“You don’t always have to use tools to be able to work in these areas. Some of it is just very direct. It’s a combination of mental focus and technique. You don’t always need rituals, spells, candles, gemstones, any kind of tools. A lot of times, our best work is when we just go direct. But the point of the books and some of the tools and rituals is for people who haven’t been on that level yet. It’s kind of like a training level. Once you really get the hang of it, eventually the point is not to need any of it.”

- REALLY COLD FOR A LAKE MONSTER DEPARTMENT -

Strange Creature Seen in Great Prespa Lake

A central European version of the Loch Ness Monster has been caught on camera.

The creature was filmed in the Albanian section of the Great Prespa Lake, which is shared by Albania, Greece and Macedonia.

The footage appears to show the head and neck of a large creature emerging from the water.

A previous video said to show the monster was filmed in the Greek section of the lake, near the village of Nivica, five years ago.

The new footage sparked an investigation by a party of journalists who were led on a tour of the lakeside by retired geography professor, Sima Jonoski.

However, they failed to see any further sign of the monster in the area where it was seen, near the Albanian tourist village of Pretor.

While many locals believe in the legend of the monster of the lake, others think it is a giant catfish.

Mr Jonoski, a non-believer who became the first man to swim across the lake back in 1970, said: 'I remember when a ship sank in Albania, near Mali grad, a lot of children drowned in Prespa Lake.

'Then I found out that the divers who searched for them saw great catfish. They were so scared that they stopped the search.

I think that it was one of those catfish that the Greek fishermen saw.'

He added:  'Sometimes things happen in Prespa Lake that don't happen in other lakes. '

When I was a teacher in 1976 I saw a large pillar of water rising near the border with Greece, shaped like a mushroom.

'It came down only after 10 to 15 minutes.'

The Great Prespa Lake, and the nearby Small Prespa Lake, are the highest tectonic lakes in the Balkans, at an altitude of 853 metres (2,798 ft).

There are legends of monsters living in a number of lakes around the world, including Nessie in Loch Ness and  Morag, in Loch Morar, boith in Scotland.

Other legendary creatures include the Lagarfljot Worm, in Lagarfljot, Iceland, Ogopogo, in Canada's Okanagan Lake,  and Lariosauro, in Lake Como, Italy.
