NOTE: When we sent this out on Sunday the top link had not been updated to online issue #1000. That has now been corrected. Sorry about that.
Here it is...issue #1000 of Conspiracy Journal. It is hard to believe that what started out more than 20-years ago as a little email newsletter with a handful of subscribers has blossomed and grown with a list of almost 10,000 dedicated fans and subscribers. I just want to take the time to thank everyone who has been with us from the beginning (and those who have only recently discovered us). At the beginning, the Conspiracy Journal newsletter was pretty unique. In fact, we often had problems getting our weekly editions out to our subscribers because email servers and ISPs mistook us for mass-mailing SPAM. Now, email newsletters are considered antiquated (though there does seem to be renewed interest because of all the security problems associated with social media). However, through it all, Conspiracy Journal has persisted, doing our best to get out to you each and every week.
Without your support, Conspiracy Journal would not have lasted all of these years. As well, I want to thank all of our dedicated stringers from all around the world who have sent us the incredible stories they uncovered from their local news outlets. This also includes the researchers and authors who have written exclusive articles for Conspiracy Journal. I encourage everyone out there to continue their patronage of this newsletter...keep sending us the weird and wonderful stories that you have uncovered or written yourselves. Without all of you, we wouldn't have lasted past a few years.
This weeks issue I will go back as far as I can (there are very early issues that were saved on media that is now so old I no longer have a way to easily retrieve it), and rerun some of our favorite stories from years past. Also, we want to hear from you subscribers on how long you have read Conspiracy Journal. Are you a long time reader, or a newbie to the world of the truly bizarre and strange? Send your emails to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks again for 20-plus great years. While I can't guarantee that we can make it for another twenty, we shall certainly do our best.
