A doll that won't stay in the same location and other strange happenings are giving a St. John's family goosebumps.
Judy Ryan, her partner and her four sons moved into a home in the East Meadows neighbourhood in the east end of St. John's last month. The house — built in the 70s — is an ordinary home in a nice neighbourhood, but Ryan's son Julian noticed strange things happening shortly after the move.
A small yellow doll that Julian, 17, made in Home Ec class ended up on his pillow instead of in the nightstand where it was usually kept.
"I tried to talk to Julian, it's nothing, maybe he's hallucinating. I came downstairs because he was afraid to come down and I came in his room and you have to understand his doors were locked into his basement in-law apartment right?" Ryan said.
"When I came down and I shook the bed covers looking for the doll, underneath the pillow and I couldn't find it, so I looked under the bed. It wasn't under the bed so I started opening the drawers and it's back in the drawers, so I took the doll. As I entered the room I had these shivers come up my spine and it was just really creepy, you get goosebumps like I have right now cause I'm in his room."
She hid the doll again in the library area of the house.
"We went around about our own things throughout the day and as I was going upstairs to put my seven-year-old to bed, the doll was on my pillow, it was in my bedroom on top of my pillow on my side of the bed," she said.
Ryan said that freaked her out. She also thought maybe the kids were playing a prank, but didn't truly believe that.
"So I took the doll again and I hid it again in another spot underneath the sink in sort of like — I have a dressing area," she said.
"I came back and that doll was downstairs in front of my son Adrian's bedroom door. And my son Julian came back and the lamps were tipped over in his bedroom and his skateboard was on top of his TV which is a very large TV."
She said her son Adrian, 14, feels as though he's being followed, and has heard the handle on his closet jiggling. Ryan has also heard a tap-tapping from the main floor at night.
Julian and his mother said they've both been in his bedroom when the radio is off and then they hear static coming from it. They say there's a constant chill in the basement — they blast the heat but yet it never truly gets warm
A friend of Ryan's posted an entry about the house on Facebook. He received a lot of responses — everything from advising the friend to move, contacting a medium or setting up a camera to record any activity. People also shared their stories of odd happenings where they live.
Contacted a psychic
Ryan decided to go to a psychic, Trudy Oakley who reads cards and says she can see spirits and talk to them. Judy recorded the reading. It went on for awhile, but here's a little of it.
"There's actually two girls in your house. One is older. One is three and one is seven. The other girl, there's the older lady, there's two little girls here, not one. One is three and one is seven. The seven year old is the one looking for her father, the three year old is fooling around with your youngsters," Oakley told Ryan in a recorded reading.
"The seven year old is more, she kind of says, 'stop.' You know, but it's the three year old who's moving everything. (She wants attention?) No, she wants your child to know that here's your dolly."
The psychic told Ryan that the spirits were dead about 70 years even though the house hasn't been there that long. She thinks they may have come with Ryan from somewhere else. Oakley said she thinks the father possibly died during WW2 and the mother and two children also died around that time but are separated from him.
Right now the family is planning to stay put. They are slowly adjusting to the weird presence in the home. However, Ryan says they may contact a priest or use a medium to try to clear the home of whatever is there.

Pilot Spots UFO on Collision Course With Plane
Safety
watchdogs in the UK are
investigating a pilot’s claims
that he ducked to avoid a UFO
he feared was going to smash
into his plane at 34,000ft.
The captain of the
packed Airbus A320 was flying
above Berkshire when he
spotted the silver object
heading straight for the
cockpit.
According to a
safety report as he turned to
look ahead, he perceived an
object travelling towards them
at what appeared to be the
same level, slightly above the
flight deck windscreen.
“Having very
little time to focus, he was
under the apprehension that
they were on a collision
course with no time to react,”
the report states
“His immediate
reaction was to duck to the
right and reach over to alert
the first officer; there was
no time to talk to alert him.”
The stunned
captain blurted out: “Did you
see that?”
But his deputy who
had not seen the UFO replied:
“See what?”
The pilot’s
behaviour made him fear there
was a fault with their plane.
“The first officer
turned and looked at him
thinking some was wrong with
the aircraft,” the report
revealed.
The captain was so
spooked by the incident in
July that he reported the
sighting to safety watchdogs
at the UK Airprox Board ,
which investigates near-misses
in British airspace.
He told experts he
saw a flying object shaped
like a cigar or rugby ball,
which was “bright silver,
metallic”.
The “near-miss”
happened 20 miles west of
Heathrow Airport, according to
a report published last week.
An official probe
said: “The pilot was subjected
to a powerful impression of
immediate danger caused by his
perception of an object
closing rapidly on his
aircraft.”
But investigators,
who did not reveal which
airline was involved, failed
to find any unidentified
aircraft in the area at the
time.
They added: “It
wasn’t possible to trace the
object or determine the likely
cause of the sighting.”

along that is just about as bizarre as it is
fascinating. And the following most definitely
falls into both categories. It’s one that many
might dismiss out of hand. Others, of a more open
mind, however, might ponder on the
possibility that the case in question is just the
tip of a very big iceberg. And, with that said,

The date was early 1974, and the setting, the Marconi Space and Defense facility at Frimley, England. At the time, the witness was employed as a draughtswoman in the Central Services branch – having previously served an apprenticeship in a division of the British Royal Navy – something which ensured that she had access to much of the establishment.
On arriving at work one particular morning, she was surprised to see an inordinate number of Ministry of Defense personnel swarming around one specific building which had been cordoned off. Although she was aware that something of deep significance had occurred, it was not until later that she was able to tackle a trusted colleague, who was himself a manager at the base.
“Something very serious has happened, hasn’t it?” she inquired. “Yes,” was the quiet response, “we’ve had a break-in. I can’t say anymore.” Over the course of several weeks, however, further pieces of the puzzle fell into place. It transpired that the break-in was far more than simply an unauthorized entry. What occurred was nothing short of the penetration of a highly sensitive facility by a living, breathing, extraterrestrial creature!
I was cautiously advised that the incident had occurred late at night, and the solitary witness was a security guard who had been patrolling the building as part of his routine duty. While walking along a corridor, the guard was startled by a dazzling blue light that emanated from one particular room. But this was no ordinary room: it was a storage facility for top secret documentation generated by Marconi as part of its work on behalf of the British Government and the Ministry of Defense, much of which was related to classified, radar-based programs.
Realizing that no-one – at all – should have been in the area at that time of night, the guard burst into the room, only to be confronted by a shocking sight. There, literally sifting through pages and pages of top secret files was a gray-skinned humanoid – but decidedly non-human – creature which quickly dematerialized before the shocked guard’s eyes. Although severely traumatized by the event, he was able to provide a brief description of the being to his superiors and noted that the blue light emanated from a helmet which encompassed the head of the entity.
By the following morning the guard had suffered a near-complete nervous collapse and was taken away, under a military guard, to an unspecified hospital for intensive therapy. He was not seen at the Frimley facility ever again. Some weeks later, my source had occasion to overhear snippets of a conversation which took place in the office of her boss, a Mr. Bevan.
I have been advised that the following is a close approximation of the relevant section of the conversation: “We have no way of keeping these beings out; we just don’t know what to do next. If they can get in here, they can get in anywhere.”
Are James Bond-style extraterrestrials really infiltrating our most protected research stations and stealing our defense secrets? As outlandish as such a theory may sound at first glance, it does receive a degree of support from official sources. For example, consider the following, extracted from a 1972 report titled Controlled Offensive Behavior – USSR, which was prepared for the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency:
“…before the end of the 1970s, Soviet diplomats will be able to sit in their foreign embassies and use ESP (extra-sensory perception) to steal the secrets of their enemies…a spy would be hypnotized, then his invisible ‘spirit’ would be ordered to leave his body, travel across barriers of space and time to a foreign government’s security facility, and there read top-secret documents and relay back their information…the Soviets are at least 25 years ahead of the U.S. in psychic research [and] have realized the immense military advantage of the psychic ability known as astral projection (out-of-the-body travel).”
Bizarre? Most certainly. But military agencies throughout the globe are very keen to exploit new and novel intelligence-gathering techniques. The method described above is simply one of many which have been examined in the past half a century by the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the former Soviet Union.
Perhaps, somewhere else in the Universe, such techniques have already been perfected, to the extent that a living organism can now literally come and go at will, completely unhindered by our seemingly rigid, physical laws…

One of the things
which has always been perplexing
about the Break Away Civilization
was the notion of “Batch
Consignments.” Batch
Consignments was a term used in
Alternative Three to describe the
movement of individuals offworld for
use as slave labor to construct
bases on the Moon and Mars.
The idea of Batch Consignments was
to use effectively slave labor as a
commodity work force for
construction of the bases needed by
the Break Aways for expansion.
On the surface the idea seems quiet reprehensible, people being forcibly relocated and forced to perform slave labor, but then again you are dealing with a group which does not necessarily hold human life in high regard, but it does make sense. It is cheaper to use slave labor then to use a skilled group of people to perform any task.
So here’s the problem – How do you prove that Batch Consignments exist? A relatively large workforce would be needed, the work would be grueling and the mortality rate would probably be high due to accidents, overwork and other causes. So you would need a constant supply of new people being kidnapped to provide the labor force. So where do you get large numbers of people over a long term? The answer, at least in part, may surprise you.
Ever year thousands of people go missing under mysterious circumstances. Accidents, murder, and many other reasons can provide the context. Recently there have been many stories about people kidnapped who spent decades in captivity before escaping to tell their story, but there are others which actually defy conventional logic.
Most batch consignments, if they exist, can be attributed to political instability in the third world. During many of the regional wars seen in Eastern Europe, Africa, and South East Asia instability and large numbers of displaced individuals provide a large source of labor. During these conflicts entire villages could disappear without a trace with little or no attention and the level of humanitarian catastrophe in the worn torn regions makes it almost impossible to catalog the number of people displaced, lost or just vanished.
During the Rwanda Genocide in 1994 more then 800,000 people were murdered and hundreds of thousands simply vanished and are presumed dead. This would represent men, women and children and some of those individuals could have become batch consignments very easily.
But there is another mystery which was discovered by researcher, and ex police officer, David Paulides. Paulides has undertaken research into disappearance clusters and his research has proved some very interesting results. On one hand he has documented numerous cases where, in National Parks, children have disappeared within feet of their parents only to be found miles away sometimes even over mountain ranges with no recollection of how they got to that location.
In other cases he has documented cases where people simply vanished leaving their cloths in a pile as if they were snatched from within their clothes. Whats more interesting is the locations of the clusters of disappearances. If we look at the map which Paulides has made, we can see that at least some of clusters are located near places like Tonopah/Area 51/Nellis, Edwards AFB, Sandia, as well as many other major installations which could be used for movement. In fact many of the disappearances are reasonably close to facilities documented on a map made by “TAL” dating back to 1990 where he documented secret underground bases and a secret underground rail network which links them. The match is pretty uncanny.
More over Paulides has documented numerous cases of disappearances inside National Parks, and when people inquire with the NPS about the disappearances? They are stone walled and told the National Parks Service does not keep records of disappearances. This lead Paulides and others to file FOIA requests which have as of yet provided no further information.
In fact on occasion researchers have even been intimidated by National Parks Service personnel when filling FOIA requests. So why the secrecy? One would think the NPS would be doing whatever they could to locate the missing campers or hikers. One would also imagine that, given the numbers of visitors, the NPS would be working hard to protect people which I think they do to some major extent but you still cannot escape the fact that many of these clusters are in National Parks. But that also makes sense.
If you want to harvest labor you are going to go where people are, and there are a lot of them in National Parks. They also provide a good cover – Well Bob went hiking and got lost case closed. But the patterns Paulides is finding is disturbing. As Paulides put it in an interview with George Knapp:
“People disappear in the wilderness all the time. We’re talking about something different. These are unusual things that don’t make sense, that happen to cluster together in three to four, sometimes as many as 20 to 30 people missing at one location.”
The numbers here, at least the numbers we know, are fairly small. Paulides has found about 400 cases so far of strange disappearances but that is what he has found. The actual number could be far higher, and is high enough that he has written four books on the subject. So I think he’s touching the tip of the iceberg.
He has also documented large number of disappearances of young people in Canada where young men and women have disappeared from native villages, and again there is no official comment.
Could these disappearances be linked? I think its possible especially when comparing his map to that of TAL’s map. It is very odd to me that even given the small geography TAL represented that there are clusters of missing persons around his facilities. That is just strange to me, but it also makes sense. You need to be able to take people somewhere for transport.
Will we ever know for sure that is whats going on? I don’t think we will but one thing is for sure – The next time I go into the wilderness or a National Park which is a hot spot I will be keeping a close eye on my friends and family.

On the surface the idea seems quiet reprehensible, people being forcibly relocated and forced to perform slave labor, but then again you are dealing with a group which does not necessarily hold human life in high regard, but it does make sense. It is cheaper to use slave labor then to use a skilled group of people to perform any task.
So here’s the problem – How do you prove that Batch Consignments exist? A relatively large workforce would be needed, the work would be grueling and the mortality rate would probably be high due to accidents, overwork and other causes. So you would need a constant supply of new people being kidnapped to provide the labor force. So where do you get large numbers of people over a long term? The answer, at least in part, may surprise you.
Ever year thousands of people go missing under mysterious circumstances. Accidents, murder, and many other reasons can provide the context. Recently there have been many stories about people kidnapped who spent decades in captivity before escaping to tell their story, but there are others which actually defy conventional logic.
Most batch consignments, if they exist, can be attributed to political instability in the third world. During many of the regional wars seen in Eastern Europe, Africa, and South East Asia instability and large numbers of displaced individuals provide a large source of labor. During these conflicts entire villages could disappear without a trace with little or no attention and the level of humanitarian catastrophe in the worn torn regions makes it almost impossible to catalog the number of people displaced, lost or just vanished.
During the Rwanda Genocide in 1994 more then 800,000 people were murdered and hundreds of thousands simply vanished and are presumed dead. This would represent men, women and children and some of those individuals could have become batch consignments very easily.
But there is another mystery which was discovered by researcher, and ex police officer, David Paulides. Paulides has undertaken research into disappearance clusters and his research has proved some very interesting results. On one hand he has documented numerous cases where, in National Parks, children have disappeared within feet of their parents only to be found miles away sometimes even over mountain ranges with no recollection of how they got to that location.
In other cases he has documented cases where people simply vanished leaving their cloths in a pile as if they were snatched from within their clothes. their name by scaring people
in public places.
The copycat craze, believed to have been started by a man known on Facebook as the Northampton Clown, involves people dressing as circus characters to surprise passers-by in public places.
Police in Derbyshire received 29 reports of clown sightings after social media claims a man in nearby Nottingham was dressing up and carrying balloons and a knife.
One report read: "Caller scared as someone had tried to get in to their house - posted on Facebook that a clown had been going around village trying door handles."
Another said: "Caller reported having received numerous calls from concerned parents about a clown going up to the windows of houses brandishing a gun and knife, frightening residents."
Tony Eldridge, the secretary of Clowns International, which represents the entertainers in Britain, said the problem had escalated beyond harmless fun.
"The fear of clowns - coulrophobia - is a real thing, some people will react very badly to this.
"This has nothing to do with clowning. It's a small group of people with stupid views and it spoils the fun for everybody else."
He said most legitimate entertainers followed a code of conduct that included not wearing their costumes in public.
The trend emerged when the Northampton Clown, who posts photos of himself in public places, gained nearly 200,000 "likes" on Facebook.
