America's Strange and Supernatural History
Find out what the "Powers That Be" Don't want you to know regarding the truly hidden - occult - history of the United States.
No
one would likely dispute the fact that times are stranger in America
than ever before, and indications are that things are getting weirder
with each passing day. But a look at our hidden – SECRET – history
alerts us to the startling fact that our country has been steeped in
“high strangeness” since its founding fathers signed the Declaration of
Independence and, provocatively, even before.
It is
nevertheless apparent that our proud nation owes a great “debt of
ingratitude” to the mysterious, the macabre, the downright bizarre and
the unseen realm of the occult. Did the ancient Lemurians, a Pacific
Ocean race similar to the fabled Atlanteans to the east, erect the
mysterious walls found in the eastern part of the San Francisco Bay
area? Writer Olav Phillips explores the enigma first hand.
Sean
Casteel provides an overview of historical incidents of cannibalism,
stories that go back as far as “The Starving Time” of the Jamestown
colony in 1609, and Wm. Michael Mott offers up some of the UFO and
creature sightings he has collected from the state of Mississippi.
Publisher/writer
Timothy Green Beckley and his friend Circe returned to Sleepy Hollow,
New York – of “Headless Horseman” fame – and discovered that paranormal
activity is still rampant there, while author Tim Swartz would like
suitable explanations for all the supernatural mysteries of his native
Indiana.
In a Bonus Section: “The Spiritual Destiny of
America” - The future of America as seen through the eyes of prophecy
and the occult is revealed. You can feel the chills already, eh? Read
“America’s Strange and Supernatural History” and get ready to kick
those chills up a notch or two.

- MISSED OPPORTUNITIES DEPARTMENT -
Exiting Obama Aide: I Missed My Chance to Spill UFO Secrets

President
Obama’s outgoing counselor John Podesta has revealed that his biggest
regret in 2014 was his failure to disclose the truth about the
existence of UFOs.
On Friday, Podesta marked the conclusion of
his latest stint at the White House by listing on Twitter his top 10
triumphs and failures from the past year.
Among his high points,
the 66-year-old law professor listed taking a ride in a NASCAR vehicle,
hosting a famous chef at his home, as well as a few more serious
accomplishments: the expansion of the Pacific Remote Islands Monument
to twice the size of Texas, the first-ever proposal to limit carbon
pollution and significant progress on climate change.
The
presidential counselor also had a couple of low points in 2014,
including being defeated in a 12K race by White House Chief of Staff
Denis McDonough, who is 20 years his junior.
But nothing exasperated Podesta more than keeping Americans in the dark about extra-terrestrials.
"Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files."
The tweet was accompanied by the hashtag #thetruthisstilloutthere - a play on the famous tagline from the TV show The X-Files.
Podesta,
a married father of three who served as Bill Clinton’s final White
House chief of staff for four years in the 1990s, has long been
fascinated with aliens and than once publicly urged the U.S. government
to release any UFO files
that could help scientists determine "the real nature of this
phenomenon."
During a 2002 press conference hosted by the
Coalition for Freedom of Information, Podesta declared: 'It's time to
find out what the truth really is that's out there, reported Yahoo News.
'We ought to do it, quite frankly, because the American people can handle the truth.'
In 2010, John Podesta wrote an introduction for the book UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On the Record.
In
it, he wrote: "As someone interested in the question of UFOs, I think I
have always understood the difference between fact and fiction. I guess
you could call me a curious skeptic. But I'm skeptical about many
things, including the notion that government always knows best."
Now
that he is back in the private sector, Podesta is expected to take the
reins of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
While
shepherding the president’s climate change agenda and shaping his
strategy for dealing with a Republican-led Congress, Podesta has also
been involved in nearly every key conversation with Clinton on campaign
hires and her burgeoning organization, as well as the timing of a
formal announcement of her candidacy.
Obama brought on Podesta
after the disastrous rollout of his health care law. Several current
and former White House officials said Podesta – regarded by many as an
alder statesman - quickly injected more depth into strategy discussions
and would often play devil’s advocate, pushing the team to consider
things not on their radar.
Podesta also ingratiated himself with
Obama’s team, particularly younger aides. An avid cook – his specialty
is Italian, including risotto and biscotti – he would invite staffers
to his home in Northwest Washington for celebratory dinners after
finishing big projects.
On Friday, Podesta tweeted that his
biggest culinary feat last year was hosting a dinner for New York Times
food columnist Mark Bittman and senior presidential adviser on
nutrition policy Sam Kass.
"I let them mince herbs for the risotto. They didn’t screw up," he quipped.

- LIFE HERE, COULD HAVE COME FROM OUT THERE DEPARTMENT -
Metallic Orb Could Have Been Sent by Aliens, Suggests Scientist
By Alejandro Rojas

Scientists
have found a tiny metal orb they believe is extraterrestrial in origin,
has evidence of life on its exterior, and also has “a gooey biological
material oozing” out of it. The lead scientist of the team who
discovered the object suggests that it may have been sent by an
intelligent extraterrestrial civilization for the purpose of seeding
life on Earth.
This revelation comes from the Buckingham Centre
for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham and the University of
Sheffield in England. The director of the center, Professor Chandra
Wickramasinghe, is one of the leading proponents of a theory called
panspermia.
Panspermia is the idea that life in space is
abundant, and that biological material travels from planet to planet.
For example, it may be ejected from a planet via a meteor strike, or
volcanic explosion, and then many years later falls onto a barren
planet seeding life. An even more controversial version of this
theory is called “directed panspermia,” which is the purposeful seeding
of life on other planets by an intelligent extraterrestrial
civilization.
The findings by the Buckingham Centre for
Astrobiology in this area have been highly controversial. They claim to
have several examples of microbial life from extraterrestrial sources.
Their latest claim is regarding samples they received from a balloon
they launched into the stratosphere. They gathered samples of material
floating around up there. It is believed that the stratosphere is too
high for microbes from Earth to reach, so any they find must be
extraterrestrial.
Among these samples is one they have named the
“Dragon Particle.” In October of last year, team lead Professor Milton
Wainwright told the press that they believe this particle is a space
fairing “biological entity.”
Their latest announcement is also
in regards to a sample found during their sampling of the stratosphere.
However, this sample was not found in the containment system used to
collect samples, like the dragon particle, rather it was found on the
balloon itself.
Their system worked by exposing their sample
collector after the balloon had reached the stratosphere. It then
closed before it returned. In this way they could be certain that the
samples were obtained from the stratosphere. However, the orb was found
on the balloon itself.
Although it was not found in the
collector, Wainwright says the orb made a small crater in the balloon,
indicating it hit the balloon at a very high velocity, which would not
be the case with an object that came up from the Earth’s surface and
was falling back down into the atmosphere.
When they analyzed
the orb, Professor Wainwright told the Daily Express, “We were stunned
when X-ray analysis showed that the sphere is made up mainly of
titanium, with a trace of vanadium.”
The surprises did not stop
there. Wainwright described the object: “It is a ball about the
width of a human hair, which has filamentous life on the outside and a
gooey biological material oozing from its centre.”
Wainwright
went on to speculate on the object’s origin: “One theory is it was sent
to Earth by some unknown civilization in order to continue seeding the
planet with life.”
Wainwright admits that the idea of directed
panspermia sounds like science fiction, but he also notes that the idea
was “very seriously suggested by the Nobel Prize winner of DNA fame,
Sir Francis Crick.”
Although Wainwright suggests the orb may
have been sent here by aliens, he does admit, “Unless of course we can
find details of the civilisation that is supposed to have sent it in
this respect it is probably an unprovable theory.”
Many
mainstream scientists have argued that the findings by Wainwright and
his colleagues, while intriguing, have not proven definitively that
they are not the result of contamination by terrestrial particles.
Wainwright
notes that NASA is conducting a similar experiment as the one done by
Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology by sending their own balloon into
the stratosphere to look for life.
“Hopefully they will get the
same results as we have, whether or not they acknowledge what the
team have found, or claim the discovery for themselves remains to be
seen,” says Wainwright.
Meanwhile, Wainwright and his colleagues
at the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology will continue to further
analyze their samples, and look for more evidence that supports their
belief that life is abundant in space, and some if it falls to Earth on
a regular basis.
Wainwright told the Daily Express: “Mainstream
science and institutions have fought against theories which expound
these beliefs but now evidence from meteorites, from samples of
bacteria from space and from space observation is making resistance
more difficult.
“Proving that the Earth is in a constant
exchange of matter with the larger cosmos would have implications not
only in terms of our identity, but could also give us insight into
alien viruses which may be important for our group identity, evolution
and survival itself.”

They’re Listening, But Who ‘They’ Are May Surprise You
By Micah Hanks
Surveillance
has a long history of use that involves nearly every kind of technology
one can imagine. During those paranoid years between the end of World
War II and the fall of the Iron Curtain, it was commonplace for
Americans in positions of special knowledge–whether that be businessmen
prone to travel often to foreign countries, to saucer-buffs seeking to
unravel the secrets behind UFO reports–to find that their telephones
had been tapped.
More famously, during the Nixon administration,
history has shown that various parts of the White House had been bugged
for similar purpose of surveilling Washington insiders (though
arguably, this exercise in paranoia was hardly limited to Mr. Nixon).
Today,
wiretapping is the norm, and it can be carried out on many levels,
thanks to the ease of access to digital technologies. Massive
government surveillance, particularly the likes of which has been
carried out by the NSA and other American agencies, has caused many
people in the US and abroad to rethink what is safe to say when
anywhere within earshot of a cell phone (yeah, remember how they used
to tell you to take the battery out before discussing private
information? The closed-back designs of iPhones and various smartphone
models have made that terribly easy, haven’t they?).
But now
it’s not just your cell phone you should be concerned about. The BBC
recently followed up on an article that appeared in The Daily Beast
which examined an odd statement found in the privacy policy issued with
a voice activated television manufactured by Samsung, which has eyes
raising in the Orwellian sense:
‘The policy
explains that the TV set will be listening to people in the same room
to try to spot when commands or queries are issued via the remote. It
goes on to say: “If your spoken words include personal or other
sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured
and transmitted to a third party.”
‘Corynne
McSherry, an intellectual property lawyer for the Electronic Frontier
Foundation (EFF) which campaigns on digital rights issues, told the
Daily Beast that the third party was probably the company providing
speech-to-text conversion for Samsung.
‘She
added: “If I were the customer, I might like to know who that third
party was, and I’d definitely like to know whether my words were being
transmitted in a secure form”.’
The fact that data gathered by a
“Third Party” might not be so bad if it were only an IT company
offering support for Samsung devices. The broader problem, of course,
has to do with how much of that information collected from individuals
might be accessible to outside parties who might request, or as we have
seen in the past, perhaps even demand access to that data.
A
similar case two years ago involved an LG television that had been
using a system similar to cookies in a web browser to amass information
about his viewing habits. While the general purposes of this is likely
innocuous, again, the broader implications that information could be
gathered, and subsequently redistributed to addition third parties,
perhaps in government, is disconcerting to some.
BBC reports of
the incident that, “publicity about the issue led LG to create a
software update which ensured data collection was turned off for those
who did not want to share information.”
In the summer of 2013,
Glenn Greenwald writing for The Guardian covered a top secret court
order, which now infamously had required the Verizon company to hand
over massive amounts of cellular call data, showing the “scale of
domestic surveillance under [President] Obama.” The ensuing scandal
enraged Verizon customers, who saw this as a blanket-move to misuse
personal data collected from American citizens and other individuals
internationally, without proper consideration for privacy, nor any
clear details about any alleged threats such action may have been
intended to curb.
Previous comparisons between such technology
and Orwell’s 1984 have been both popular, and obvious. Hence, to leave
on that similar Orwellian note, the relevant text from 1984 as it
relates to “telescreens” that both can listen, and pay attention
to what is said, is as follows:
“He thought
of the telescreen with its never-sleeping ear. They could spy upon you
night and day, but if you kept your head you could still outwit them.
With all their cleverness they had never mastered the secret of finding
out what another human being was thinking. . . . Facts, at any rate,
could not be kept hidden. They could be tracked down by inquiry, they
could be squeezed out of you by torture. But if the object was not to
stay alive but to stay human, what difference did it ultimately make?
They could not alter your feelings; for that matter you could not alter
them yourself, even if you wanted to. They could lay bare in the utmost
detail everything that you had done or said or thought; but the inner
heart, whose workings were mysterious even to yourself, remained
impregnable.”

Blue Snow falls in Chelyabinsk

Residents
of Chelyabinsk – the Russian Urals city hit by a meteorite explosion
back in 2013 – have sounded alarm over a strange bluish snow that
covered the city streets.
“As the sun rose today, everyone
noticed the blue rooftops, blue parking lots…we started panicking a
bit”, local resident Dmitry told RT via phone. The fallout was spotted
in an industrial zone on the outskirts of the city.
According to
Dmitry, the strange snow smelt somewhat like iron, but was not giving
the locals much trouble and even brightened up the area’s gloomy
surroundings.
However, not everyone was amused, with some bewildered locals speculating that the snow was contaminated by toxic materials.
Correspondent
with local news portal Telefact, Alexandra Artamonova, said she could
“feel a sweet taste in the mouth” while merely standing near a pile of
blue snow. She added that people have been complaining of a sore throat
after passing near the contaminated area.
Local media trumpeted
the people’s concerns Thursday. Neither the Emergencies ministry nor
the Ministry of Ecology have responded to the case, media claimed.
Nevertheless,
later on Thursday LifeNews claimed to have solved the mystery saying
that the blue snow should not cause any concern. It turned out to be
that a local factory making dye for Easter eggs had a minor “spill”.
The Viteks Company assured that the colorant does not pose any health
risks.
Recently, the Russian city of Saratov was blanketed with a deep covering of orange snow.
Saratov
is a major port (population over 800,000) on the Volga River, 858 km
(533 miles) from Moscow, and has a moderate (for Russia) climate with
an annual snowfall of about 163 centimeters (64 inches) which, until
now, has never been orange.
The orange snow was widespread and
of various shades of orange along with patches of yellow and brown.
Saratov’s residents were rightly skeptical to avoid eating snowflakes
or jumping in the juice-colored banks until finding out what caused it.
The most likely reason, according to Saratov weather forecast service
director Mikhail Boltukhin, was a cyclone that blew colored sand from
Africa’s Sahara desert into Siberian snow clouds.

Youth Harassed By Ghost
Searching For A Husband

A Female ghost searching for a husband had her wish fulfilled when a
“wedding ceremony” was held for her in Tampin, Negri Sembilan, on
Sunday, China Press reported.
The daily reported that the spirit had been “harassing” a youth,
causing him to have sleepless nights.
The youth went to a medium in Tampin who told him that the spirit was
that of a woman who committed suicide five years ago at the age of
19.
The medium said the ghost would only “release” the youth if he found
her a husband.
The wedding was arranged after a male ghost was found as the “groom.”
The youth reportedly slept soundly on the night of the wedding.
Deputy Home Affairs Minister Datuk Tan Chai Ho told China Press that
smart cards would be implemented next year to reduce the number of
illegal immigrants.
Details to be stored in the card include the worker’s thumbprint, work
permit and entry record.
Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said the problem of
fake higher degree qualifications was serious.
He told Sin Chew Daily that using a fake qualification to apply for a
job was against the law.
The daily reported that traffic police would start the two-week Ops
Sikap on Nov 8, in conjunction with the Hari Raya and Deepavali
celebrations.
Federal traffic police chief Datuk Gingkoi Seman Pancras said police
would be stationed at strategic locations to ensure smoother traffic
flow.
In a Nanyang Siang Pau report, Higher Education Deputy Minister Datuk
Fu Ah Kiow warned those having honorary titles such as “doctor” not to
use the title with their names.

Mystery Object or Creature Spotted in Plymouth Sound

An unidentified object or creature has been spotted floating in Plymouth Sound UK and those who saw it want to know what it was.
Several people contacted The Herald newspaper asking about what they saw in the waters off our shore this past weekend.
Allan Jones of West Hill took some pictures.
He said: "On Sunday morning I spotted a large marine like creature or object in Plymouth Sound.
"I
had a telephoto lens and captured a number of images. The first one I
took I was up by Smeaton's tower but then went down towards the sea for
some closer shots.
"The creature or object moved in circles,
appeared to curve its shape and moved a considerable distance from left
to right, turn and then move back the other way.
"I have circled a piece of floating wood that floated up to and past it.
"The creature or object then turned and remained stationary. It was seen by a number of people.
"I was using a 400mm telephoto lens as it was a fair distance out to sea."
Stacey Westlake contacted us on Facebook to ask: "Please could you tell me what was in the water on the Hoe.
"We saw most of it but had to get back to the car?? People was saying it looked like a shark or dolphin."
But
Nathan Dale, who was on-call for the Plymouth Lifeboat, has assured
people that what was spotted lurking in the water was nothing more than
a piece of driftwood caught up in the rip current.
Mr Dale,
who was near the waterfront with his children, said: "I borrowed a
passer-by's binoculars, because it looked like a creature at first.
"Someone
called the emergency services and the MoD Police took a closer look.
The police had reports of it being a body, and it had me wondering so I
wanted to make sure we weren't needed to assist.
"But it was just pieces of driftwood."
